2. Korlai Fort 

Built by the colonising Portuguese in the year 1521, Korlai Fort was originally built on an island to guard the route to Revdanda Creek. In total, the fort houses eleven gates with each of the seven bastions named after Christian saints of Portugal like the Sao Francisco bastion named after the respected Francis of Assisi. With the fort situated carefully upon a hillock, you will be welcomed by a cool breeze followed by views of the sleepy village and the ocean as you reach there.  

3. Murud Janjira Fort 

This is one of the most famous forts in India known for its durability and still-standing structures. The Murud Janjira fort is a marine fort situated off the coast of village of Murud. In total, the entire fort has around 26 bastions that still stand strong to this day.
